Travel through time via music and comedy drawn from the forty-year library of the legendary, but fictional, musical variety show called “Sherman's Showcase.”

Pete Sherman is a city man who gets relocated to the small North Carolina city Durham to help build up a new firm. On the way he struggles to adjust to the new location but hope hits when he meets a beautiful lady named Becca.

Comedy Showcase is a series of one-off comedy specials featuring some of Britain's fledgling comedy talent. Its format is reminiscent of the much earlier Comedy Playhouse. The format was replaced in 2012 by 4Funnies.
